We're at an exciting growth moment -- we have secured significant funding and our paying customer base continues to grow exponentially. We write beautiful Ruby code and use cutting-edge web software techniques and languages. We are looking for people to join us on that upswing; people who both want and are willing to make a significant impact on the company and the product. We Work in a Cool Place

The Zendesk offices are located in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood. SoMa is home to a slew of tech start-ups like us; and full of great coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. We're within walking distance of AT&T Park stadium and the Caltrain station. The offices themselves have the exposed brick and wooden beam thing you'd hope for in an office. The building is a converted industrial space with big bay windows in front of which we have hung a hammock. The workspaces are big, and we're still small enough that you have your choice where to setup. We don't just have whiteboards on walls. We have entire walls of whiteboards. We take brainstorming seriously.

We keep our kitchen well-stocked with drinks and snacks for everyone and have no less than 3 different kinds of coffee machines.

Our Outlook and Attitude

Zendesk was started by three Danes with an idea in a Copenhagen apartment. We have grown quickly; but while we may have a bigger office and more people, that can-do and experimental attitude persists. We believe in the software we make and are looking for people who will get into not just our code, but also into our ideas about software and customer service. We think it's important to be in close connection with the wider tech and web community and we host & participate in meet-ups and conferences around the world. We don't have to look far when we want to talk shop with other companies, however. We share our converted industrial building with a number of like-minded folks such as Yammer, EventBrite, and Playdom.
